Lords and ladies and those of you NOT sitting on a cushion, here is my tale..........

I was soon to be 40, mundy, a single parent of 2 teenagers and seemingly destined to sit on a park bench and feed pigeons in my latter years.  Having dedicated myself to their upbringing to such a degree as I had there was nothing in my life that resembled a social life or network.  I was alone.  In a breath my world and destiny were to change, though at the time I had no inclination to believe either the case.   A work acquaintence invited me to her birthday party.  "Come to my birthday party" she says.... "it'll be fun" she says...  and with one small "OK" things changed for me forever.

Now I had been to a couple of faires in the last few years and have always liked the atmosphere as it hearkened back to an earlier more simple time.  What I found at the brithday party was nothing short of remarkable.  The party itself was rather small and quiet, but it was then I was introduced to Vlad Ben Abraham, King of Colwod Novas.

Less than a month later I asked His Majesty to take me on as a Page for training.  I was accepted for training and have recently attained the rank of Squire.  It is my continuing goal to be knighted one day and each day I work towards that.

So breath flow’th in ye yet in thine eld? Eld, pffffffth, methinks!

Thy candle hath found it spark and doth flicker in the darkness. Feed’st thou it well, page, and it will illuminate thy soul and that of thine issue.

Play doth ever be the origin of youth and not solely the providence of the young. Goodly Sport be unto thee this day.
